11/24/2024 – Arctic Chill is coming!

A nicer day, but still some breezes around. Temps today should be up into the low 50s. Miler tomorrow with highs close to 60 degrees. Some showers possible tomorrow night. Still mild Tuesday with highs again near 60. A bit cooler Thursday.

Rain is possible Thursday, but we will need to watch model trends. This could impact the rain outlook attached as well! I will probably drop a brief update later!

The cold starts Friday and you will really feel it Saturday as highs stay in the 30s. We will also start cold windy conditions that could last for days!

I want to re-emphasize that the next few days it is time to prepare for cold weather!

Tuesday: Hi 59 🌤️ Lo 34 🌙 – Mostly sunny with breezy conditions; partly cloudy and cooler overnight.

Wednesday: Hi 51 ⛅ Lo 39 🌧️50% – Partly sunny, becoming mostly cloudy with a chance of rain late.

Thanksgiving Day: Hi 48 🌧️80% Lo 35 🌧️ 60% – Rainy (NOTE: THIS MAY TURN LESS LIKELY)

Friday: Hi 🌦️30% Lo 26 🌙 – Partly sunny with a slight chance of rain early; clearing and cold overnight.

Saturday: Hi 38 ☀️ Lo 23 🌙 – Sunny and cold, with clear skies expected at night.

11/23/2024 – Countdown to Turkey Day! Woot Woot! It will be a breezy day with winds gusting into the low 30s. Temps will be up near 50 degrees. winds will die off tonight and tomorrow looks great! Highs tomorrow will be in the mid 50s with light winds. A great day to finish up the Outdoor Christmas decorations, especially as we head for much colder temps by next weekend!

There will be rain chances on Monday Night. Very Mild Tuesday and then temperatures will start to get much cooler Wednesday.

Today: Hi 51 🌤️ Lo 41 🌙 – Mostly sunny and breezy with gusty winds, becoming partly cloudy tonight with lighter winds.

Sunday: Hi 54 🌤️ Lo 35 🌙 – Mostly sunny with light winds, turning partly cloudy overnight with calm conditions.

Monday: Hi 61 🌤️ Lo 48 🌧️50% – Mostly sunny, with increasing clouds and a chance of showers late at night.

11/22/2023- Updates! The rain showers, sometimes mixed with snow, should end late this evening. We will continue breezy and quite cold! Most of us did not get out of the 30s today! The cold snow/rain mix is quite wintry for our area. We will clear and remain breezy tomorrow with highs around 50.

Things calm down Sunday, and we are sunny and mild, with highs in the mid-50s.

Rain showers on Wednesday will start the colder trends, and we may see additional rain showers on Thursday. It will be quite cold late next week, and then it could get really cold next weekend! The models do not suggest any real chances of snow or wintry weather; there is a good chance of a stretch of very cold temperatures as we start December.

The forecast:

Today: Hi 39 🌧️80% Lo 37 🌧️70% – Rain, possibly mixed with snow showers. Breezy, with gusts up to 34 mph. Rain chances diminish late tonight with partial clearing.

Saturday: Hi 51 🌤️ Lo 41 🌙 – Partly sunny and breezy, with gusts up to 32 mph. Gradual clearing overnight with lighter winds.

Sunday: Hi 54 ☀️ Lo 36 🌙 – Mostly sunny and calm, becoming partly cloudy overnight.

Monday: Hi 61 ☀️ Lo 49 🌧️50% – Mostly sunny during the day. Showers likely after midnight under mostly cloudy skies.

Tuesday: Hi 58 🌤️ Lo 34 🌙 – Mostly sunny and cooler, with partly cloudy skies overnight.

Wednesday: Hi 48 ☀️ Lo 35 🌧️40% – Mostly sunny during the day. Showers possible overnight under mostly cloudy skies.

11/21/2022 – ❄️❄️SNOW TOMORROW MORNING❄️❄️ Not too bad of a day, but cool and breezy with maybe a shower that could have gusty winds with graupel/small hail today. Cold air tonight and some moisture that could start as rain and quickly change to some snow in the morning tomorrow! WOOT WOOT!❄️❄️ (for snow lovers) Snow could whiten your mulch piles!

It will be breezy and chilly through Saturday, and then it will be mild again early next week. There could be some rain around Thanksgiving 🦃and Black Friday. Some models hint at some wintry weather around then, but that does not look likely at this time. How much rain is also not clear!

Colder air could filter in for the first week of December! We look at below-normal and slightly above-normal precipitation. I will be watching for wintry weather!

11/202/2024 – ❄️❄️❄️❄️SNOW SHOWERS IN THE FORECAST! ❄️❄️❄️❄️A bit late today! We will have a very changeable forecast. It will be nice and warm today. Showers will be on the increase late today, probably after 5 pm. Around 8pm a front will come through and winds will become strong and gusty from the West! Winds MAY briefly gust to 50mph. As the late great Doug Hill would say “We have a combover advisory!” – It is trash day for a lot of folks, so get them and secure them and other things this afternoon.

Windy and much cooler conditions tomorrow with Snow Pellets/graupel and/or small hail possible in any pop-up shower. More windy conditions tomorrow night with rain and snow showers possible later, becoming all snow showers possibly Friday morning! Nothing is really accumulating, but the first snow should be seen!! 🌨️❄️❄️

Winds will slowly subside over the weekend, and it looks like we will get milder early next week. The middle of the week looks to bring rain (there is a small chance that something different than rain could fall Thanksgiving Day, but most likely rain)

Another round of colder air may follow. This one could be interesting… We have a wintry weather window (a period of time when there MAY be an opportunity for wintry weather) between next Wednesday until December 6th. NOW – It would be super tough to happen, but it is possible! Model forecasts keep teasing possibilities.

Friday: Hi 45 🌧️❄️50% Lo 40 🌧️40% – A mix of rain and snow showers early, transitioning to rain showers during the day

Saturday: Hi 52 ⛅️ Lo 39 🌙 – Partly sunny skies and breezy.

Sunday: Hi 53 ☀️ Lo 34 🌙 – Mostly sunny with winds subsiding.
