6/22/2020 – Hot today with a chance of some strong to severe storms. We have a marginal risk of some severe today for winds and maybe some hail. Locally heavy rain is possible in these storms as well. The best window for storms appears to be 3 to 7 PM. Tomorrow will have similar humidity and locally heavy rains in storms. We now look to have a reprieve Wednesday through Friday with highs in the mid-80s. Heat returns for the weekend!

Absolutely gorgeous day after a crazy hot and humid Saturday. We will see nice temps today and tomorrow. Hotter and some humidity coming Tuesday and Wednesday. A chance of Storms Wednesday. Good news for the longer-range is that it looks like more chances of below normal temperatures. Unfortunately, we will be in a drier pattern, which is not great for keeping things green!  Below is the Forecast and the 6 to 10 and 8 to 15-day temperature forecasts showing a strong lean towards below average!

Welcome to the first day of Meteorological Summer! It is also the first day of Hurricane Season, and let's hope that there are not any big storms. Unfortunately, I am seeing something possible in the Gulf in the next day or two.

Here, the weather is BEAUTIFUL today. We will have very summerlike weather starting Wednesday. There is a possibility of some severe weather Wednesday. The Storm Prediction Center has us in the Marginal set up now (see the second image) – I have some concerns but will wait for more data before sharing what I am concerned about. The rest of the week is very summerlike. I am hoping we can get another nice weekend.

5/18/2020 – Cool and damp week ahead, but solid rain chances have slipped to later in the week. A daily chance of some showers, but not a washout! The main rain chances shifted south of the region. An increase in rain chances starts Thursday and goes into Saturday. Hoping we can get this system out of here to salvage part of the long weekend, but this upper- level system is pesky and takes its time moving!
