12/29/2024 – Wild weather on the way! Cold is likely in the extended and then rumor of snow – but we will have to wait for details!
Today will be breezy with afternoon showers and maybe even some Thunderstorms. Warm with highs in the 60s.
Sunny and pretty nice tomorrow – Maybe a good time to look at the snow blower and make certain it fires up! Just in case! 😀
More rain on New Year’s Eve.
Breezy and a bit cooler Wednesday then colder as we head into the weekend.
 
Overall Precipitation amounts have come down, which is not good for our drought. Obviously, a thunderstorm could change that locally, but a general half inch of rain seems possible today through Wednesday.
 
A very cold and potentially wintry pattern sets up the following week.

Today: Hi 62 ⛈️90% Lo 44 ⛈️100% – Showers likely with thunderstorms in the evening. Patchy fog early and gusty winds.
 
Monday: Hi 57 ☀️ Lo 36 🌙 – Sunny skies and mild!
 
Tuesday: Hi 55 🌦️70% Lo 41 🌧️50% – Mostly cloudy and mild with rain likely in the afternoon, decreasing to a chance of showers overnight.
 
New Year’s Day: Hi 46 🌤️ Lo 30 🌥️ – Partly sunny and breezy!
 
Thursday: Hi 39 🌤️ Lo 25 🌥️ – Mostly sunny and colder
 
Friday: Hi 39 🌥️ Lo 22 🌥️ – Mostly cloudy and cold
 
Saturday: Hi 32 ☀️ Lo 18 🌙 – Sunny and cold.

12/28/2024 – Headlines: Thunderstorms are possible tomorrow and a very cold outlook in the long range!

We've had a wet start to the day, but we'll get a break this afternoon. Tomorrow, more rain is on the way, and there's a chance for Thunderstorms. We even have a chance of a locally strong to severe storm tomorrow! We expect around an inch tomorrow.

We will be dry on Monday, but it will be a bit breezy and mild. On Tuesday there is a good chance of rain late in the day and into the night. I KNOW THIS IS A BUMMER for New Year's Eve activities. We will clear up on Wednesday, and then we start a colder pattern late in the week.

Things could get very cold the following week! We will need to watch for a true Arctic Outbreak. It's not clear yet just how cold it could get, but we will need to watch!

The forecast:
Today: Hi 50 🌧️60% Lo 48 🌧️80% – Rain likely, tapering off by early afternoon. Showers redevelop overnight

Sunday: Hi 62 🌧️100% Lo 48 🌧️90% – Showers throughout the day with gusty southeast winds.

Monday: Hi 56 🌦️20% Lo 36 🌙 – A slight chance of morning showers, becoming mostly sunny and breezy, with clear and calm conditions overnight.

Tuesday: Hi 53 🌧️80% Lo 41 🌧️50% – Rain in the afternoon, continuing as a chance of rain into the night under mostly cloudy skies.

New Year's Day: Hi 47 🌤️ Lo 31 🌙 – Partly sunny and breezy during the day, clearing to partly cloudy overnight.

Thursday: Hi 38 ☀️ Lo 26 🌙 – Mostly sunny skies and colder

Friday: Hi 36 ☀️ Lo 26 🌙 – Mostly sunny and cold

12/27/2024 – Another cloudy and cool day with mostly cloudy skies. Rain tonight into the first half of tomorrow. More rain on Sunday and Sunday night. Additional rain is expected Tuesday into Tuesday night.. Colder conditions next week. We could see a touch of rain/snow next Thursday but nothing much, which is very uncertain.

The long-range looks cold, and maybe we will see some wintry weather.

The forecast:
Today: Hi 43 🌤️ Lo 37 🌧️90% – Partly sunny with calm winds. Rain and patchy fog developing after midnight.

Saturday: Hi 51 🌧️90% Lo 49 🌧️80% – Rain and patchy fog

Sunday: Hi 61 🌧️80% Lo 47 🌧️70% – Rain tapering off late at night.

Monday: Hi 56 🌤️ Lo 38 🌙 – Mostly sunny and Mild.

Tuesday: Hi 54 🌧️60% Lo 42 🌧️60% – Rain likely in the afternoon

12/26/2024 – Another cold and wintry gloomy day ahead. Highs in the low 40s. Dry today and tomorrow before we get some rain on Saturday and Sunday. Dry Monday and some more showers, possibly New Year's Eve and Day.

I am watching for the potential of some wintry weather next week. I am not convinced that it will happen or be much. Beyond this, at some point, cold air will invade the Country and us. Whether that can bring some wintry precipitation is yet to be seen, but I would say we have a higher chance than we have had in a long while. We shall see… and even a great pattern does not mean we get snow!

Friday: Hi 43 🌤️ Lo 38 🌧️70% – Partly sunny during the day, with rain likely after midnight under mostly cloudy skies.

Sunday: Hi 61 🌧️80% Lo 47 🌧️60% – Showers throughout the day, tapering off to likely showers overnight under mostly cloudy skies.

12/25/2024 – Merry Christmas to you! Chilly and cloudy day ahead. Quick summary
Rain chances increase this weekend and it could rain quite a bit! You may want to check those storm drains and basement drains before the rain hits.

Shower chances persist through New Year's Day. It will also warm to the 50s by the weekend and into early next week!

Watching for a change in the pattern and MAYBE even a wintry threat around the 5th of January, but that is Speculation!!! Things do seem to be trending colder in the long-range.
