4/6/2025 – A dreary day with some showers. More rain overnight. Some showers and so much cooler and even cold the next few days. More rain is possible later this week and into the weekend.
The long range will turn a bit warmer.

The forecast:
Today: Hi 62 🌧️60% Lo 40 🌧️100% – Cloudy with patchy fog and showers likely, becoming rainy with fog returning between 9pm and 5am

Monday: Hi 50 🌧️60% Lo 32 🌙 – Cloudy with rain likely early and fog in the morning, gradually becoming partly cloudy overnight

Tuesday: Hi 45 🌤️ Lo 27 🌙 – Mostly sunny and breezy, becoming mostly clear and cold overnight

Wednesday: Hi 53 ☀️ Lo 37 🌤️ – Sunny during the day with a few clouds developing late

Thursday: Hi 58 🌧️️40% Lo 46 🌧️50% – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers in the afternoon and evening

4/4/2025 – This morning looks wet, but things could clear up, and this may be an alright day! Highs will be in the mid-60s. More showers tonight and especially later tomorrow. Sunday may have some showers and storms. There is a marginal risk that some storms could be severe on Sunday. Next week will be pretty cold for this time of year. Rain chances will end early Monday, and we will dry out, which is not good considering the drought we have.

Saturday: Hi 71 ⛈️40% Lo 57 🌧️40% – Cloudy with patchy fog in the morning, scattered showers and a chance of evening thunderstorms

Sunday: Hi 65 🌧️80% Lo 40 🌧️90% – Showers throughout the day and evening, turning colder overnight

4/3/2025 – Showers and even some thunderstorms are possible today. We do have a severe risk for a windy storm, maybe with some hail, and even a risk of an isolated tornado. Today's severe threat is all about how much instability we can get from the atmosphere. That could be aided by some sun or other things.

We look fairly mild/warm through Sunday with rain chances daily! We need the rain, but none of this looks that heavy! We really cool off next week!

4/2/2025 – Sorry I have been slow to update today! Tomorrow we will need to watch for an isolated storm or two that could be severe. It is hard to predict exact details, but the atmosphere is well primed for rotating systems that could cause wind and isolated tornadoes. The question is whether that gets close to us or not! I will be more vigilant tomorrow on what is happening. We have a lot of rain chances over the next several days, but not a lot of rain overall.

4/1/2025 – YA – That was an April Fool's joke earlier! Thanks for the positive feedback on the page. I do want to get the daily updates out sooner, but I have not been as early a riser as I want to be! 🙂 It is cooler and breezy today. We did get some good rain late yesterday. We have a long way to go to break the drought. More rain is possible starting Thursday and continuing through the weekend, accompanied by relatively warm temperatures. Thursday may also bring a chance of some severe storms. We will be much cooler next week. Although models initially hinted at some snow flurries mixed in with the rain on Monday, they were removed in the next model run, as expected. We will have about 10 days of cooler air before I see a warm-up again.
