⛈️ Earlier Heavy Rains Move Out, Sun Breaking Through

Heavy rain, hail, and strong winds hit parts of the area earlier, but things have calmed down. A few spotty showers may linger today, but most of the rain is gone.

🎃 Windy Halloween Ahead

Friday will be dry for trick-or-treating. Hold on to those costumes as gusty winds up to 40 mph could try to blow them away.

Highs around 60°F through early next week and dry conditions expected

Despite today’s rain, Loudoun remains in severe drought, according to the latest Drought Monitor. We need more soaking rains to make a dent.
