❄️ Bitter Cold Sunday with Snow Recap

Late yesterday, models hinted at more snow, and while some spots saw higher totals, most areas landed between a quarter to a half an inch. The far northwestern areas did best, picking up around an inch and a half thanks to elevation. The far northeast also saw nearly an inch, while central and southern spots stayed lighter.

🌬️ Frigid Air Takes Hold

Temperatures will drop throughout the day, hitting the upper teens by 5 p.m. Wind chills near zero tonight as we fall into the mid-teens. Monday stays cold with highs only in the upper 20s.

📈 Gradual Warming This Week

Tuesday warms into the upper 30s. We break 50 by Wednesday and 50s for Thursday. Some late rain moves in Thursday evening but it looks like just plain rain.

🌤️ More Seasonable Next Weekend

Temps settle into the low to mid-40s with more typical December weather. Christmas week is looking milder than normal though not as warm as early hints suggested. Still watching long-range trends but it’s looking okay with maybe a bit of dryness.
