🌥️ Pleasant Weekend Despite the Clouds – MAYBE a shower
Today and Sunday will be mild, with highs in the upper 70s. While skies will stay mostly cloudy, it'll still be a great couple of days to be outside.

🌡️ Warmer Start to the Week
Monday remains mostly cloudy with highs creeping into the low 80s. Still dry, but humidity may start to build a bit.

🌧️ Rain Chances Return Midweek
By Tuesday afternoon, scattered showers and storms look to return, and they could hang around through much of the workweek. Highs around 80°F Tuesday and Wednesday, dropping into the low to mid-70s by Thursday and Friday.

💧 Moisture-Loaded Pattern Could Linger
An upper-level low will be pumping in moisture, but its exact track will determine who gets the most rain. After last week’s soaking in some areas, the region could still use more rainfall to chip away at the drought.

Wednesday: Hi 79 ☁️40% Lo 62 ☁️30% — Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers in the afternoon and again overnight

Thursday: Hi 73 🌦️30% Lo 61 🌧️30% — Partly sunny with scattered showers possible, continuing into the evening

Friday: Hi 73 ☁️40% Lo 61 🌧️ — Mostly cloudy with scattered showers continuing overnight

☁️ Cloudy & Cooler Today
A gray day ahead with highs only reaching the low to mid 70s thanks to an onshore (easterly) flow and thick cloud cover. It’ll start turning breezy later this evening.

🌦️ Scattered Showers Late
Some spotty showers may pop up this afternoon, but the better chance for rain comes late tonight into early Wednesday morning. Rainfall totals will be light — generally a quarter inch or less for most spots.

🌤️ Clearing Thursday and warmer
Clearing and sunny Thursday with highs climbing to near 80°F. Friday looks even warmer, with highs pushing into the mid to upper 80s!

☀️ Dry Through the Weekend
After this quick shot of rain, we turn dry and stay warm. Highs will be in the upper 70s to near 80 into early next week. The long-range outlook keeps temps above normal with near-normal rainfall chances.

🌤️ Warm Start to the Week
Today stays on the warm side with highs climbing into the low 80s. Clouds will increase through the day, hinting at a pattern change ahead.

☁️ Breezy & Cooler Tuesday
Tuesday will be noticeably cooler with highs in the low 70s, due to an easterly flow bringing in more moisture. Expect mostly cloudy skies and a developing breeze. Rain chances increase late in the day and into the night.

🌧️ Spotty Midweek Showers
Scattered showers continue into early Wednesday with that easterly breeze sticking around. Rain amounts look light, generally around a quarter to half an inch, maybe a bit more east of the Blue Ridge, but possibly much less in spots.

🌡️ Turning Warmer Late Week
Thursday brings a rebound in temperatures, near 80°F, and Friday looks hot with highs in the mid to upper 80s.

☀️ Pleasant Weekend Ahead
The weekend looks fantastic, dry with sunshine and highs in the mid to upper 70s. Still not much help for the ongoing drought, but at least a little midweek rain could help.

📈 Long-Range Outlook
Above normal temperatures look to continue with a hint at better rain chances down the line.

☀️ Sunny, Dry, and Heating Up!

We're in for a stretch of beautiful, sunny days with no rain in sight. Highs will climb steadily, reaching into the 80s each day, with mid to upper 80s expected by Sunday.

🌫️ Morning Fog Offers Minimal Relief
A bit of morning fog and mist is forming in some areas, especially near homes and vegetation, offering slight moisture relief—but it’s not much.

🔥 Drought Concerns Continue
This heat and dry spell are not helping our ongoing drought. With no measurable rain in the forecast, conditions will stay dry. Long-range trends show near-normal precipitation (which isn’t much this time of year) and continued above-normal temps, so don’t expect drought conditions to ease anytime soon.

Heavy Heart for the Nation
On this day of remembrance and grief, our hearts are heavy. From the tragic memories of 9/11 to the heartbreaking events of yesterday and other senseless acts of violence, there is so much pain in our world. May we all be moved not just by external circumstances, but by a deeper change within, a change of heart that brings true peace that I believe can only come from knowing God. My thoughts and prayers are with all who are hurting.

🌥️ Clouds Today, But Dry
Today brings a bit more cloud cover, which will help keep highs slightly cooler with temps topping out in the upper 70s to around 80°F.

🌞 Dry and Warm Stretch Ahead
Starting tomorrow, we’ll be climbing into the low to mid 80s each afternoon. Skies will generally be mostly sunny to partly cloudy.

🌵 Drought Deepens
The US Drought Monitor now shows our area in a moderate drought, with no meaningful rain expected in the next 7 days.
