Loudoun County Weather Outlook for Wednesday, June 12, 2024

The Heat looks a bit less for tomorrow and Friday, but it's still hot. 
It will still be nice with low humidity today and temps near 80. 
Much warmer tomorrow, with humidity on the increase! 
Friday will be hot, and we have a good chance of showers and storms.
The weekend will have highs in the low and mid-80s. 
The HEAT comes back next week! 
Wednesday: Hi 80 Lo 61 🌤️🌙 – Partly sunny with light winds, becoming partly cloudy with patchy fog after 5am
Thursday: Hi 88 Lo 66 🌤️🌙 20% – Mostly sunny with patchy fog early and a slight chance of showers in the afternoon
Friday: Hi 90 Lo 62 ⛈️⛈️ 50% – Mostly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms
Saturday: Hi 82 Lo 58 ☀️🌙 – Sunny and mostly clear
Sunday: Hi 86 Lo 66 ☀️🌙 – Sunny and mostly clear

The extended is looking HOT. It will start drier than normal but the temps and humidity should help pop some thunderstorms later in the period.

Loudoun County Weather Outlook for Tuesday, June 11, 2024

Today is just so very nice. This will likely be the last day with highs in the 70s and sunny for a while! Temps start climbing tomorrow and then turn HOT on Thursday and Friday. There is a chance of some showers and storms on Friday, which could keep the highs in the lower 90s instead of the upper 90s! Hot and humid, though. A cool down to the mid-80s for the weekend, and then we look to get back up in the 90s next week with a true heat wave that will feel very hot as the combined heat and humidity could make it feel up in the low 100s for several days! YUCK! YUCK YUCK!

Tuesday: Hi 74 Lo 55 🌤️ Mostly sunny, with a north wind around 7 mph.
Wednesday: Hi 81 Lo 60 🌤️ Mostly sunny, with calm wind.
Thursday: Hi 90 Lo 67 ☀️ Sunny, with a calm wind becoming south 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon.
Friday: Hi 93 Lo 63 ☀️⛈️ Sunny, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. The chance of precipitation is 30%.
Saturday: Hi 84 Lo 60 ☀️ Sunny.
Sunday: Hi 86 Lo 65 ☀️ Sunny.
Monday: Hi 92 ☀️ Sunny.
The extended looks like it will stay warmer than usual and near or slightly below average rain chances.

Great temps today and tomorrow with beautiful weather! The end of the week looks miserably HOT! Been speaking of it for a bit!
Monday: Hi 77 Lo 55 🌥️ Increasing clouds, with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms late this evening. 20% chance of precipitation.
Tuesday: Hi 75 Lo 55 ☀️ Sunny, with a northwest wind of around 5 mph.
Wednesday: Hi 82 Lo 59 🌤️ Mostly sunny, with a calm wind.
Thursday: Hi 90 Lo 67 ☀️ HOT! Sunny, with mostly clear skies at night.
Friday: Hi 95 Lo 66 ☀️ HOT! Sunny, with partly cloudy skies at night.
Saturday: Hi 85 Lo 61 ☀️ Very Warm. Sunny, with mostly clear skies at night.
Sunday: Hi 87 ☀️ Very Warm: Sunny.
The more extended range still looks warm to hot. I hope some of the cooler models come true, so it will not be too bad!

First great day of a stretch. Get outside today if you can! Eat outdoors.. go for a walk! Do something! 🙂 It looks so nice. Although I had a beautiful weekend alert, Sunday now has a chance of showers and storms. But today, Friday and Saturday look GREAT! 
Daily chances of showers and storms return Sunday through Wednesday of next week!

Loudoun Weather Outlook for May 27, 2024

We have a risk of isolated severe weather today, but the clouds should help keep the severe not as widespread. Despite this, there could still be an isolated storm with high winds, hail, and even an isolated tornado. I think that the greater risk is south and east of Loudoun. Showers and some thunderstorms do look likely, but most of these may hold off until this evening, which will make most of the day dry, though a few small showers could pass through in the next few hours.

ALSO NOTE – The NOAA NWS Storm Prediction Center has already outlined the area for a likely Severe Watch in the region.

If we clear out and the sun helps to destabilize the atmosphere, the chances for severe weather will increase.

The week should get better as we go forward.
