Such a nice day in store! It started off chilly, with some getting down in the upper 40s this morning! The forecast is simple… nice temps over the next few days and then turning hot. Clear skies ahead and no rain will have poor impacts on our drought.

It's absolutely gorgeous today but a bit breezy!! The touch of fall has arrived, but it will soon be replaced with hotter weather.

Unfortunately, the drought continues and will get worse over the next week as it remains dry. This is an easy forecast with the weather feeling great the next several days and getting hot in the long-range but staying dry!

A touch of Fall Weather is on the way! 

The weekend storms were indeed hit or miss! I ended up with a total of 0.02 inches of rain—basically, a sprinkle! The drought rages on with such little rain. Some had a lot more rain. 

Today, we will see another chance of showers and storms as a front comes through, but the National Weather Service is not excited based on its outlook. Then, several days of nice dry weather with highs in the 70s and lows in the low 50s (maybe even the upper 40s!!) will follow.

Hotter weather returns this weekend. Unfortunately, the long-range shows above-average temperatures and below-normal precipitation!

FALL PREVIEW NEXT WEEK! 

It will be hotter today with some humidity. Unfortunately, the rain we need is coming over the weekend. This will include some severe chances (though marginal risk which is a 1 out 5 on the scale) and maybe some localized heavy rain! 

Come Tuesday we will feel like fall with highs in the 70s and lower humidity! Night lows cold get into the lower 50s! That is Pumpkin Spice and everything nice kind of weather! 🍂🎃

The extended starts below normal with temperatures and trends towards normal, which is no heading to the mid-80s.
