10/8/2024 – Another beautiful day ahead! For many in western Loudoun, temperatures will drop to the 30s Thursday night. If that happens, frost advisories may be issued. 

As an update, Milton came down in strength overnight but is still awful and will impact most of Florida. I'm just praying that he can be weakened more. However, I suspect some slight strengthening today once he reorganizes a bit from what is known as an eyewall replacement. Eyewall replacements widen the hurricane's eye and show a growing hurricane. 

Another BEAUTIFUL WEEKEND ALERT! 

Temps will trend slightly above normal while precipitation chances are a bit below in the long range.

Today: Hi 67 ☀️ Lo 45 🌙 – Sunny with light winds, becoming clear overnight.

Wednesday: Hi 68 ☀️ Lo 42 🌙 – Sunny and mostly clear with light winds.

10/7/2024—This weather is the best of fall! It's cool and cold at night and nice and comfortable during the day. We did get a few showers overnight. Unfortunately, I was unable to see any northern lights. Sorry for the false alarm. It will be breezy today as the drier and cooler air moves in. 

Many will see the 30s on Thursday night, especially in Western Loudoun! 

I know we have some followers who own Heating and A/C companies, and they would tell you to test things out. But before you do, make sure the CO2 detectors are running, and it would be a good time to schedule a maintenance check! Get those filters swapped out, too! 

For those monitoring, Florida will likely get hit by a major hurricane. Most models show the storm weakening on approach, but Hurricane Milton may become a Category 5 when over the central Gulf before he weakens (but there is no guarantee he will). Florida is in massive evacuation mode, and we can just hope he does not come onshore for the worst-case scenario of Tampa or as strong as he may be. 

We will stay dry for a while. Temps will tend towards normal, which is low and in the mid-70s.

10/5/2024 – Some fog this morning, but turning into a nice day with some drier air which means clear skies! Highs in the upper 70s. 

Clear tomorrow with clouds increasing late in the day and a chance of a shower or storm overnight.

Then it is sunny and a bit below normal with temperatures for next week! 

The long-range looks drier than average and temps near normal in the long-range.
