Loudoun County Weather Outlook for Friday, October 25, 2024

 10/25/2024 – Another sunny and beautiful day after we warm from a chilly start. We will be breezy tomorrow which will likely lead to some additional concerns for an elevated fire risk. Sunday will be cooler with highs in the 50s. Low 60s on Monday. Then warmer for Tuesday through Thursday! It looks like a very warm Halloween with highs near 80. I have been speaking of the warmer look on the models for a while on my weather overviews on YouTube (https://lowx.us) and 80s may be possible towards next weekend as well. 
There are some signs that MAYBE we will see some rain chances start the following week but temperatures appear to stay above normal.
SPECULATION – MAJOR SPECULATION – A colder look is showing around the 10th of November which could bring us some really colder conditions for the fall… but that is how far off things look before we get a good freeze! Things can obviously change being so far off, that is why I call very long-range forecasts speculation.

Today: Hi 69 ☀️ Lo 53 🌙☁️ – Areas of morning frost, then sunny with light winds shifting southward by afternoon
Saturday: Hi 66 🌤️ Lo 40 🌙 – Mostly sunny and breezy with gusts up to 31 mph, then clear overnight
Sunday: Hi 60 ☀️ Lo 37 🌙 – Sunny with light northwest winds; mostly clear in the evening
Monday: Hi 61 ☀️ Lo 42 🌙☁️ – Sunny and partly cloudy overnight
Tuesday: Hi 67 🌤️ Lo 50 🌙 – Mostly sunny, staying mostly clear at night
Wednesday: Hi 76 ☀️ Lo 54 🌙☁️ – Sunny skies with partly cloudy conditions overnight
Thursday: Hi 78 🌤️ Lo 56 🌙- Mostly sunny

Loudoun County Weather Outlook for Thursday, October 25, 2024

10/24/2024 – Elevated Fire Risk Today! A breezy and sunny day ahead with highs cooler as they will be in the low and mid-60s. Cold tonight. Temps remain in the 60s, and nighttime lows are near 40 tomorrow and Saturday. Cooler Sunday with temperatures in the 50s and nighttime lows in the mid-30s! We start a slow climb and are back into the mid-70s by the middle of next week! 
Dry weather and warmer temperatures remain in the extended outlook, although there could be some rain chances in the more extended (8 to 14 days from now).

Today: Hi 64 ☀️ Lo 39 🌙 – Sunny with gusty northwest winds up to 30 mph, becoming clear tonight
Friday: Hi 67 ☀️ Lo 52 🌙 – Sunny and calm, becoming partly cloudy overnight with light winds
Saturday: Hi 66 🌤️ Lo 39 🌙 – Mostly sunny with breezy northwest winds and clear skies later
Sunday: Hi 59 ☀️ Lo 36 🌙 – Sunny and mostly clear
Monday: Hi 61 ☀️ Lo 41 🌙☁️ – Sunny becoming partly cloudy overnight
Tuesday: Hi 68 🌤️ Lo 51 🌙☁️ – Mostly sunny with partly cloudy skies at night

Loudoun County Weather Outlook for Wednesday, October 23, 2024

10/23/2024 – Another warm day with highs around 80 today. That will change tomorrow when temps drop back to the low 60s. We should see some breezy conditions overnight. 
We stay in the 60s through Saturday, and then we have a second cooler push, with highs in the 50s on Sunday and Monday. 
Temperatures then moderate back into the mid and upper 60s.
Halloween looks dry and probably in the 50s at Trick-or-treat time!

Today: Hi 78 ☀️ Lo 52 🌙 – Sunny with light winds becoming gusty after midnight, mostly clear later on.
Thursday: Hi 63 ☀️ Lo 40 🌙 – Sunny with breezy conditions, calming and clear overnight.
Friday: Hi 67 ☀️ Lo 50 🌙 – Sunny with light winds, partly cloudy by night.
Saturday: Hi 68 🌤️ Lo 41 🌙 – Mostly sunny turning partly cloudy late.

Loudoun Weather Outlook for Tuesday, October 22, 2024

10/22/2024 – A warm day ahead with temperatures reaching the low 80s. The warmth will stick around tomorrow before we cool Thursday. Even cooler weather on Sunday and Monday. Temps in the long range should trend a bit above average but the dry conditions are raising concerns of a return of the drought.

Loudoun Weather Outlook for Monday, October 21, 2024

Sunny and warm stretch until a bit of a cool down Thursday. We may hit 80 today, especially tomorrow, and again Wednesday. Highs Thursday will go down to the lower 60s. Dry weather as far as the models can see and warming back up next week. Low to mid 80s could be possible as we approach Halloween.
