2/11/2026
🌀️ Welcome to Wednesday!
Last night stayed above freezing with temperatures in the low 40s and upper 30s, so a lot of melting happened in the last 24 hours. This will continue today, but tomorrow will be cold and windy.

🌬️ Colder Tomorrow
Highs will be in the 30s tomorrow and will drop to the 20s at night. The next few days will stay cooler but not too cold. On Friday, highs will reach around 42 degrees. By Saturday, we might get close to 50 degrees.

🌦️ Watching Sunday
Sunday could bring rain or mixed precipitation, but it's hard to predict. Some weather models show clear skies with rain south of us, while others suggest a mix of snow. We'll keep an eye on it.

πŸ“ˆ Next Week Warms Up
After this weekend, the cold air moves out and things warm up. Highs could reach the upper 40s by Monday and low to mid 50s by Tuesday. This milder period might continue through next week as the snow melts away. We still need rain since it's been very dry. Have a great Wednesday!

The forecast:
Today: Hi 44 🌀️ Lo 27 πŸŒ™ – Mostly sunny and blustery, becoming partly cloudy and remaining breezy overnight

Thursday: Hi 36 🌀️ Lo 22 πŸŒ™ – Mostly sunny and blustery through the day, staying partly cloudy overnight

β˜€οΈ Much Warmer Today
We are looking at a much better day today with highs climbing into the mid to upper 40s. A few spots could even touch the 50Β° mark. The snow is melting slowly which is helping with the icy conditions, and that melting will continue through tomorrow.

🌬️ Turning Colder Thursday
Expect a change by Thursday as it turns windy and colder with highs in the 30s

❄️ Uncertain Weekend Outlook
The forecast for the weekend remains a bit of a question mark. We could see anything from a dry day to rain or even some snow. I am keeping a close eye on the trends and will provide an update if things start to look more certain.

πŸ“ˆ Milder Trends Ahead
Once we get past the weekend, temperatures should start to moderate. Signals point to a milder pattern, with temperatures potentially climbing above normal as we head into next week.

I’ll be watching this weekend’s system closely and will post an update if anything significant changes.

The forecast:
Today: Hi 44 🌞 Lo 33 🌧️20% – Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, followed by isolated evening showers

Wednesday: Hi 43 β›… Lo 27 ☁️ – Partly sunny through the day and mostly cloudy overnight

Thursday: Hi 37 β›… Lo 24 ☁️ – Partly sunny and mostly cloudy at night

Friday: Hi 42 🌞 Lo 26 πŸŒ™ – Mostly sunny and mostly clear

Saturday: Hi 47 🌞 Lo 28 ☁️ – Sunny skies during the day and mostly cloudy after dark

Sunday: Hi 39 ❄️70% Lo 34 🌧️70% – Rain and snow likely through the day with rain continuing into the night

Monday: Hi 44 🌦️30% Lo 30 πŸŒ™ – Partly sunny with a chance of rain, then clearing overnight

Loudoun County Weather Outlook for Monday, February 9, 2026

2/9/2026 The Arctic air is leaving! Weekend uncertain, but good amount of Precipitation!
β˜€οΈ Bright but Chilly Start
We are looking at a sunny but cold day with temperatures hovering around the freezing mark.

πŸ“ˆ Midweek Warming
A warm-up arrives tomorrow as highs climb into the mid to upper 40s. Some spots could even reach 50 degrees before we see a slight pullback into the mid-40s on Wednesday.

πŸ“‰ Turning Colder
Temperatures take another dip by Thursday, with highs struggling to reach the upper 30s or near 40 degrees.

❄️ Weekend Precipitation
We are watching the potential for some wintry weather late Saturday night into Sunday morning. Temperatures make it unlikely this will be all snow, so rain and snow will mix, with rain as the main precipitation. A good amount too! Over an inch of precipitation, which is very much needed!

πŸ”Looking ahead to next week, the pattern suggests a shift toward more moderate and slightly above-normal temperatures along with additional precipitation chances. We will keep an eye on how that evolves.

The forecast:
Today: Hi 32 🌞 Lo 20 ☁️ – Mostly sunny, becoming mostly cloudy overnight

Tuesday: Hi 47 🌞 Lo 31 ☁️ – Partly sunny, becoming partly cloudy at night

Wednesday: Hi 43 🌞 Lo 26 ☁️ – Mostly sunny, becoming mostly cloudy overnight

Thursday: Hi 37 🌞 Lo 23 ☁️ – Partly sunny, becoming mostly cloudy at night

Friday: Hi 39 🌞 Lo 23 πŸŒ™ – Mostly sunny and clear overnight

Saturday: Hi 42 🌞 Lo 27 ❄️40% – Mostly sunny, with a chance of snow and mostly cloudy skies overnight

Sunday: Hi 38 β„οΈπŸŒ§οΈ60% Lo 30 πŸŒ§οΈβ„οΈ- Rain and snow likely through the day and into the night

Can you provide the icon and low temperature for Monday?

Loudoun County Weather Outlook for Sunday, February 8, 2026

Posted on February 8, 2026February 8, 2026 By admin No Comments on Loudoun County Weather Outlook for Sunday, February 8, 2026
2/8/2026 Warming trend and then some uncertainty
πŸ₯Ά Bitter Cold Start
We have another cold day ahead, but that extreme cold warning should wrap up around 10 a.m. Expect a high near 22Β°F, though it’ll feel closer to zero this morning. Temperatures tonight dip back into the single digits.

🌑️ Warming Trend Begins
Tomorrow brings us near freezing as the warm-up kicks into gear. By Tuesday and Wednesday, we’ll see a nice jump into the mid 40s, with some spots potentially hitting the upper 40s on Wednesday. Enjoy it while it lasts, because we cool back down into the 30s as we head toward the weekend.

❄️ Storm Watch for the Weekend – Though it is fading
We are tracking the potential for storms next weekend, but uncertainty remains very high. Models are still bouncing around, so we could see anything from a snowstorm or rain to a completely dry day. It is just too early to call, though trends are moving away from it! The Precipitation forecast is likely high based on models.

Looking further out, a warmer-than-average stretch is likely for about a week before another cooldown arrives late in the month. More active weather could return then as well. Stay tuned for updates!

The forecast:
Today: Hi 22 🌞 Lo 4 πŸŒ™ – πŸ₯Ά Sunny with wind chill values as low as 0, becoming mostly clear at night

Monday: Hi 32 🌞 Lo 19 ☁️ – πŸ₯Ά Mostly sunny, becoming mostly cloudy at night

Wednesday: Hi 44 🌞 Lo 25 ☁️ – Mostly sunny, becoming mostly cloudy at night

Thursday: Hi 37 β›… Lo 21 ☁️ – Mostly cloudy during the day and mostly cloudy at night

Friday: Hi 36 β›… Lo 21 πŸŒ™ – Partly sunny, becoming partly cloudy at night

Saturday: Hi 40 🌞 Lo 24 πŸŒ™ – Mostly sunny and clear at night
