🌥️ Cloudy and Humid Midweek
Today will stay mostly cloudy with a bit of that ocean breeze. Highs will top out in the low 80s, not too bad for early August.
🌧️ Slight Shower Chances Tonight & Thursday
We can’t rule out a stray shower tonight into Thursday, but overall it’s a quiet pattern. Clouds continue to linger on Thursday with highs right around 80°F.
🌡️ Warming Up Into the Weekend
Starting Friday, temperatures will slowly climb, reaching the low to mid-80s through the weekend. By Monday, we’re looking at near 90°F with more uncomfortable conditions.
🔥 Long Range Heat & Tropics Watch
Next week looks hotter with above normal temperatures returning and rising humidity. I am also keeping an eye on the tropics; some signs of activity are showing up on the models. Don’t buy into the hype, but models are showing some close encounters to the east coast..
