🌤️ Gorgeous Day with Crisp Air!
After some spotty showers and storms yesterday, most notably in Northwestern Loudoun, we only managed about a tenth of an inch of rain in most spots. Some areas stayed dry while others caught a brief downpour.
🍃 Clearing Skies & Comfortable Conditions
Today is shaping up beautifully! Skies are clearing, humidity is dropping, and highs will climb into the mid to upper 70s. Breezy at times, but overall a picture-perfect day.
🌙 Chilly Nights Ahead
Tonight and tomorrow night will be crisp with lows dipping into the 40s. A real taste of fall in early September. We’ll warm up slightly later in the week with highs nearing 82°F by Thursday and nighttime temps returning to the low to mid 50s.
🌾 Dry Stretch Continues
No significant rain in the forecast and with continued dry conditions we’re likely to see a moderate drought appear on the drought monitor soon.

Thursday: Hi 82 ☀️ Lo 55 🌙 – Sunny and warmer during the day, clear skies overnight
Friday: Hi 78 ☀️ Lo 53 🌙 – Sunny and pleasant through the day, staying mostly clear
Saturday: Hi 77 🌤️ Lo 55 🌙 – Mostly sunny and seasonable, with clear skies at night
