🌤️ Chilly and Windy Saturday!
Good Saturday, everyone! We're looking at a mostly sunny but chilly day across Loudoun County. Gusty northwest winds could reach 30 mph, making it feel cooler than the thermometer suggests. Grab a jacket!
☀️ Warmer Sunday Through Wednesday
Sunday brings sunshine and breezy conditions. Monday stays breezy before we warm up nicely Tuesday. Veterans Day on Wednesday looks pretty good, with sunshine and pleasant conditions for outdoor activities.
🌧️ Showers and Colder Weather Return
Things change Thursday as temperatures drop and showers become possible. Rain chances continue into Friday, with a potentially colder and wetter pattern developing next weekend.
🥶 Watching Next Weekend Closely
There is considerable uncertainty about how a low-pressure system and trough will evolve. Depending on their track, we could see highs only in the 40s next Saturday, along with chilly rain and breezy conditions.
Some snowflakes could fall in the mountains, farther west, or north into Pennsylvania and New England. I'm not suggesting snow for Loudoun at this point! It's simply too early to know how things will develop.
🌧️ Some Much Needed Rain?
We certainly could use the rainfall! It's encouraging to see precipitation showing up, but the rain could shift north or east depending on the storm track.
Looking farther ahead, temperatures favor near to above normal conditions, with precipitation closer to normal.
