Loudoun County Weather Outlook for Monday, November 11, 2024

11/11/2024 – Thank You Veterans! Freedom is not free and we than you and your families for serving and helping protect this Country!
For weather, it will be a very mild day with highs in the low 70s. It will be breezy as well. We turn cooler/seasonal this week with days in the 50s and nights around 30 degrees for a few days. It is probably time to winterize the outdoor hose bibs and hoses.
We will see a possibility of some showers Thursday and then be mild this weekend. I am still watching for a weather change around the 20th. Things are never clear this far off!

Veterans Day: Hi 71 🌤️ Lo 43 🌙 – Partly sunny, becoming fully sunny with a brisk northwest breeze in the afternoon

Tuesday: Hi 57 ☀️ Lo 29 🌙 – Sunny with gusty north winds during the day, clear and chilly at night

Wednesday: Hi 52 ☀️ Lo 33 ☁️ – Sunny with light morning winds, becoming mostly cloudy overnight

Loudoun County Weather Outlook for Sunday, November 10, 2024

11/10/2024 – We finally have some rain in the forecast for late today into the evening! It will be a cloudy day with highs in the upper 50s. Temps will be mild again tomorrow, reaching 70 degrees before we cool for the week, though not super cold. Thursday does pose another chance of some rain. We will head into next weekend with highs in the 60s.

I am still watching the potential for a pattern chance later the following week and we could get very cold for a few days! That is so far off it may change.

The forecast:
Today: Hi 57 🌧️60% Lo 50 🌧️80% – Cloudy with showers likely this evening, becoming more frequent tonight with patchy fog possible late.

Veterans Day: Hi 70 🌤️ Lo 43 🌙 – Partly sunny in the morning, gradually clearing and becoming sunny with a light breeze.

Tuesday: Hi 55 ☀️ Lo 29 🌙 – Sunny and clear with brisk north winds.

Wednesday: Hi 51 ☀️ Lo 36 ☁️ – Sunny during the day, becoming mostly cloudy at night.

Thursday: Hi 56 🌦️40% Lo 38 🌙 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers in the afternoon, then partly cloudy overnight. (RAIN CHANCES MAY INCREASE)

Friday: Hi 61 ☀️ Lo 38 🌙 – Sunny and mostly clear through the night.

Saturday: Hi 62 ☀️ Lo 38 🌙- Sunny and mild.

Loudoun County Weather Outlook for Saturday, November 9, 2024

11/9/2024 – Cooler day with some breezes around this morning. We remain in an elevated fire risk so be careful. We moderate a small bit tomorrow and should finally see some rain late in the day and into the evening. This NOW looks like the only real chance of rain over the next week as Thursday is looking way less impressive.

The Longer range is still hinting at a pattern change. It is looking different every run of models which means clarity is going to be slow and the change could be a bit slower than what it shows. That change would be around the 22nd. I discuss it more on YouTube –> https://youtu.be/d-Wxmb2n6tM

Loudoun County Weather Outlook for Friday, November 8, 2024

11/8/2024 – Another warm day for this time of year, and with the breezes, and dry conditions, we have a fire concern. No outdoor burning today!

Saturday and Sunday will be cooler and more seasonable, with highs in the mid-50s. Rain will likely fall on Sunday afternoon and evening.

We then dry out and warm up for a day on Monday, but temperatures will return to near normal later next week.

We have another good chance of rain towards the end of the week. The combination of Sunday and later next week gives us the best rain outlook we have had in a LONG while!

SPECULATION – Next Thursday may bring a round of heavy showers and storms, and we may experience a shot of really cool air for a few days. We will see if the models continue to agree with this idea.

The long-range still looks warmer than average, but this may change a little bit based on the recent models. It still looks drier than normal.

11/7/2024 – There MAY be some showers today, but nothing widespread. We will still be mild but not as hot as yesterday!
We clear up Friday and Saturday, but some showers could enter the picture Sunday afternoon and be likely Sunday night! This should snap the dry record we have for the last 35 days!

Temps remain above normal in the extended with low chances of rain.
