Loudoun County Weather Outlook for Tuesday, October 15, 2024

10/15/2024 – A cool day ahead with some clouds and a few showers midday. There will be no significant rain, though. Temps will be in the low and mid-50s. Tonight will be cold, and if the winds can calm down, we may see some frost in isolated spots. 
Cool air will stay for a few more days, with nighttime lows in the 30s and daytime highs in the low and mid-50s. 
We get milder as we head into the weekend, and temperatures recover to around 70 on Sunday and in the low 70s next week. 
The long range remains very dry with above-normal temperatures!

Today: Hi 55 🌧️30% Lo 37 🌙 – Scattered showers in the late morning to early afternoon, becoming partly sunny with light northwest winds.
Wednesday: Hi 54 🌤️ Lo 37 🌙 – Mostly sunny with patchy frost early, breezy at times with gusts up to 23 mph.
Thursday: Hi 58 ☀️ Lo 38 🌙 – Sunny after patchy morning frost.

10/14/29024 Happy Monday!
School's out, and we’ve got a breezy, cooler day ahead following last night’s front. A few spotty showers may have slightly helped, but we're still in a dry spell, and drought conditions are expected to worsen. With warmer temperatures next week, the risk of brush fires will increase. Be mindful of water conservation and stay aware of the dry conditions!

Today: Hi 60 🌤️ Lo 42 🌙 – Partly sunny and breezy with gusts up to 36 mph, becoming partly cloudy and calm after midnight

Tuesday: Hi 55 🌧️30% Lo 39 🌙 – Mostly cloudy with scattered showers midday, then clearing overnight

Wednesday: Hi 53 🌤️ Lo 37 🌙 – Mostly sunny and breezy with gusts up to 24 mph, turning clear by night

Loudoun County Weather Outlook for Sunday, October 13, 2024

10/13/2024 – Another warm and beautiful day ahead, though winds will become breezy this afternoon as we have temps around 80 degrees. There is a chance of an isolated shower or storm tonight. Tomorrow, we should see temperatures much cooler, with a high in the lower 60s and winds making it feel even cooler. The week will remain cool, with temperatures on Tuesday in the 50s with maybe a shower and sunny and the 50s on Wednesday. Temps will moderate some as we head into next weekend, and by next Sunday, I expect we will be back in the 70s.

The extended looks warmer than normal with low chances of rain.

The forecast:
Today: Hi 82 🌤️ Lo 56 🌧️20% – Patchy fog early, then sunny and breezy with gusts up to 24 mph. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening, becoming partly cloudy.

Columbus Day: Hi 62 🌥️💨 Lo 41 ☁️ – Partly sunny with gusty winds, becoming mostly cloudy at night.

Tuesday: Hi 56 🌥️🌧️20% Lo 38 🌙 – Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers, then mostly clear at night.

Loudoun County Weather Outlook for Saturday, October 12, 2024

10/12/2024 – Things look good and warm this weekend with highs today in the mid and upper 70s and around 80 tomorrow!

The front will come through tomorrow night and could bring a shower.

Cool and breezy conditions will follow for Monday and several cool days in a row with nighttime lows getting into the 30s!

The long-range does look like we will have above-normal temperatures, and it continues to look dry. .

Today: Hi 77 ☀️ Lo 49 🌙 – Sunny with light winds, becoming partly cloudy at night.

Sunday: Hi 80 🌤️ Lo 54 🌧️30% – Mostly sunny with gusty winds and a chance of evening showers and thunderstorms, becoming mostly cloudy late.

Columbus Day: Hi 62 🌤️🍃 Lo 40 🌙 – Mostly sunny, windy, and breezy with gusty winds, turning partly cloudy at night.

Loudoun County Weather Outlook for Friday, October 11, 2024

10/11/2024 – I am still amazed at last night's light show! It was probably a once-in-a-lifetime experience, though I think last May, many (outside of our area) also had a treat with a storm! I had never seen anything like it! Thank you all for sharing the photos. What a special night! I do not see a repeat happening tonight, but we will have to watch the forecast. The storm is still pretty strong right now. 
The weather is easy! It will be in the upper 60s today and the 70s all weekend. A shower is possible Sunday afternoon and evening, and then even cooler air will come in, with several days staying in the 50s after the low 60s on Monday. 
Though we look dry, the longer range shows temps trending above normal after next week.

Today: Hi 69 ☀️ Lo 46 🌙 – Sunny with calm winds, becoming west 5 to 7 mph
Saturday: Hi 76 ☀️ Lo 51 🌙 – Sunny with light west winds
Sunday: Hi 78 ☀️ 🌦️20% Lo 55 🌧️30% – Sunny with a slight chance of showers in the afternoon; mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening
