Cold air has brought in some snow showers this morning, and it'll stay breezy with gusts possibly reaching into the mid-30s

🌥️ Clouds Increase with a Chance of Flurries
Tonight into Saturday morning, clouds will thicken with a slight chance of flurries or snow showers.

🎄 Chilly but Nice Saturday for Holiday Fun
Saturday looks good with highs in the low 40s. Perfect for enjoying local events like the Purcellville parade, Leesburg parade, or the Jingle Bell Rock and Run in Ashburn.

🌨️ Light Snow Possible Late Saturday into Sunday
A quick-hitting snowmaker could bring around an inch (or more) of fluffy snow Saturday night into Sunday.

🥶 Bitter Cold and Windy Sunday
Sunday will be frigid with highs only in the upper 20s and dropping into the teens by evening with blustery winds. It will feel like zero or below on Sunday night. Bundle up if you’re heading out!

📈 Slow Warm-Up Next Week
Monday starts off cold but improves slightly with highs near freezing. We climb into the mid-30s on Tuesday and into the 40s by Wednesday. Warmer-than-normal temps are looking likely heading into Christmas!

🌧️ Breezy with a few Showers possible Today
It’s a chilly Wednesday with highs in the low to mid 40s and some scattered rain showers around. We had a shot at some snow this morning, but that’s looking unlikely now.

🥶 Colder Thursday and Friday
Temperatures drop tomorrow with highs stuck in the mis and upper 30s.

🌨️ Light Snow Possible Friday
A few flurries or light snow could move in Friday afternoon or evening. Most spots won’t see much, but some areas might pick up to a coating.

🌬️ Weekend Chill with Snow Chances
Saturday stays cold with highs around 40, then a quick-hitting Clipper system may bring a dusting to an inch of fluffy snow overnight Saturday, bringing breezy and colder temperatures with highs not getting above freezing.

🥶 Staying Cold into Early Next Week
The chill sticks around to start next week, though there’s a hint we may warm up a bit as we get closer to Christmas.

❄️ Cold and Breezy Today
Staying chilly with a brisk breeze as temps hold in the 30s with another cold night ahead.

🌨️ Mix Possible Wednesday Morning
A very light rain-snow mix is possible (30%) early Wednesday, followed by a few afternoon showers. Temps warm into the low to mid 40s.

🌬️ Colder Thursday and Friday
Highs drop to the mid to upper 30s both days.

❄️ A weak Clipper system on Friday could bring a touch of snow by evening. Not much expected, but just enough for a wintry vibe and possibly some slick spots.

🌡️ Slightly Warmer Saturday
Saturday rebounds into the low 40s before colder air settles back in.

🥶 Cold Stretch Sunday through Tuesday
Highs likely stay below freezing Sunday through Tuesday.

❄️We may see some light snow Sunday as well, but it is very uncertain at this point!

📈 Watching for Milder Temps Beyond
In the far extended, there are signs temps may turn a bit milder, but I will keep a close eye as patterns can shift quickly.

❄️ I will update on wintry threats if they become a bit better in focus for Friday and Sunday!

Loudoun County Weather Outlook for Monday, December 8, 2025

❄️ Cold and Cloudy Start to the Week
It’s a chilly Monday with highs stuck in the low 30s and a thick blanket of clouds overhead. It even smells like snow, but that dry northern air is keeping the real flakes away. A few light snow showers might sneak in this afternoon, but nothing big.

🌨️ Snow Stays South
Most of the action is well to our south today, where parts of Virginia are picking up 2 to 4 inches. For us, the dry air wins out and keeps things quiet.

🌡️ Slight Warm-Up Midweek
Tuesday stays cold with highs again in the 30s. Wednesday is the mild spot this week with temps pushing near 50. That’s short-lived, though, as we cool back into around 40 for Thursday and Friday.

🥶 Arctic Air This Weekend
Saturday and Sunday look much colder with highs near 30 and lows dropping into the teens. Breezy conditions will add to the chill.

📉 Long-Range Outlook
The cold pattern looks to stick around into next week. A hint of a warm-up may show up, but we’ll have to wait and see.

12/7/2025 – Very similar day today as yesterday, then getting colder. A small system may bring some snow showers tomorrow. Late week is hard to tell on what could happen Thursday into Friday, but next weekend looks SUPER cold!

🌤️ Chilly But Decent Today
Partly sunny skies with highs in the low 40s.

❄️ Turning Colder With Snow Chances
Monday and Tuesday will bring highs near freezing, with the chance for a few snow showers Monday. Tuesday stays cloudy and cold.

🌡️ Brief Midweek Warm-Up
Wednesday brings a break from the chill with highs near 50, but don’t get used to it. Temperatures drop again on Thursday into the 40s.

🌧️❄️ Wintry system Watch Late Week
A system could bring a mix of rain and snow Thursday night into Friday. Still a lot of uncertainty, but I am watching it closely. This is why the attached image is showing moisture! That is not certain at this point!

🥶 Bitter Cold Next Weekend
Highs may not reach 30 on Saturday, and overnight lows could plummet into the teens or even single digits if we see snow. Sunday stays very cold.

🌾 Still Dry
Despite the cold, moisture has been lacking. The drought continues, and long-range outlooks hint at a colder but drier pattern sticking around.
