10/29/2024 – A beautiful day ahead. Highs will be in the upper 60s with abundant sunshine. Halloween looks warm with highs in the upper 70s. A front comes through overnight Thursday with a few showers possible. Friday will be near 70 but the weekend cooler with highs around 60. We start warming up again early next week. Rain chances are still low. The Climate Prediction Center is seeing that MAYBE we could see some rain chances in the long range, but the models are looking pretty dry to me!

Also, at one point I thought we may see a pattern change around the 10th of November, but that is looking less likely.

10/28/2024 – A cold morning! We will warm to the low 60s today. Tomorrow, it will be closer to 70, and then Wednesday and Thursday, it will be in the mid and upper 70s. A front will come through Thursday night and part of Friday, introducing the first chance of rain in a very long time, but nothing of great significance. We will cool to the low and mid-60s for next weekend. 

The long-range still shows some hope for a slightly wetter pattern, but I am not confident if it will mean much.  It also remains above normal on average.

Today: Hi 62 ☀️ Lo 42 🌙 – Sunny with calm winds turning light southerly; mostly clear overnight

Tuesday: Hi 68 🌤️ Lo 50 🌙 – Mostly sunny and mild with a light south breeze, remaining clear

Wednesday: Hi 77 ☀️ Lo 56 🌙 – Sunny with gentle winds, staying mostly clear at night

Thursday: Hi 79 🌤️ Lo 60 🌧️50% – Mostly sunny; clouds increasing late with a chance of showers after midnight

Friday: Hi 69 🌦️30% Lo 42 🌙 – Partly sunny with a slight chance of showers in the morning, then clearing

 10/25/2024 – Another sunny and beautiful day after we warm from a chilly start. We will be breezy tomorrow which will likely lead to some additional concerns for an elevated fire risk. Sunday will be cooler with highs in the 50s. Low 60s on Monday. Then warmer for Tuesday through Thursday! It looks like a very warm Halloween with highs near 80. I have been speaking of the warmer look on the models for a while on my weather overviews on YouTube (https://lowx.us) and 80s may be possible towards next weekend as well. 

There are some signs that MAYBE we will see some rain chances start the following week but temperatures appear to stay above normal.

SPECULATION – MAJOR SPECULATION – A colder look is showing around the 10th of November which could bring us some really colder conditions for the fall… but that is how far off things look before we get a good freeze! Things can obviously change being so far off, that is why I call very long-range forecasts speculation.

10/24/2024 – Elevated Fire Risk Today! A breezy and sunny day ahead with highs cooler as they will be in the low and mid-60s. Cold tonight. Temps remain in the 60s, and nighttime lows are near 40 tomorrow and Saturday. Cooler Sunday with temperatures in the 50s and nighttime lows in the mid-30s! We start a slow climb and are back into the mid-70s by the middle of next week! 

Dry weather and warmer temperatures remain in the extended outlook, although there could be some rain chances in the more extended (8 to 14 days from now).
