Loudoun County Weather Outlook for Tuesday, November 26, 2024

11/26/2024 – Rain has moved on and we will be breezy today with highs well into the 50s. Variable clouds tomorrow and in the low 50s. Some rain tomorrow night and through about mid-day Thursday. Cooler Thursday and then cold this weekend through the middle of next week, but we look dry.

The forecast:
Today: Hi 59 🌥️ Lo 33 🌙 – Mostly cloudy through mid-morning with gradual clearing. Gusty northwest winds decreasing to light by evening.

Wednesday: Hi 53 🌥️ Lo 41 🌧️90% – Increasing clouds during the day, with rain developing overnight. Steady winds shifting southeast.

Thanksgiving Day: Hi 51 🌧️60% Lo 31 🌧️🌙20% – Rain likely in the morning, tapering off by the afternoon, leaving mostly cloudy skies. Light winds shifting northwest.

Friday: Hi 45 ☀️ Lo 24 🌙 – Mostly sunny and clear.

Saturday: Hi 38 ☀️ Lo 22 🌥️ – Sunny and cold, becoming mostly cloudy overnight.

Loudoun County Weather Outlook for Monday, November 25, 2024

11/25/2024 – A very nice day ahead with temperatures nearing 60 degrees. We do get dome overnight rain and then sun returns tomorrow with another upper 50s degree day! We cool on Wednesday to the low 50s with rain Wednesday night and as we start Thanksgiving Day. This will be the start of the colder trend as we head to a cold weekend and beyond! We will enter a very cold period from Saturday and at least through the following week.

The forecast:
Today: Hi 57 🌤️ Lo 46 🌧️60% – Mostly sunny during the day; rain likely overnight with light winds.

Tuesday: Hi 59 🌦️30% Lo 34 🌙 – A slight chance of rain early, then clearing with breezy northwest winds; partly cloudy and calm overnight.

Wednesday: Hi 52 ⛅ Lo 41 🌧️70% – Mostly cloudy, becoming rainy overnight with increasing south winds.

Thanksgiving Day: Hi 52 🌧️80% Lo 34 🌧️30% – Rain during the day, tapering off to a slight chance of rain overnight.

Loudoun County Weather Outlook for Sunday, November 24, 2024

11/24/2024 – Arctic Chill is coming!
A nicer day, but still some breezes around. Temps today should be up into the low 50s. Miler tomorrow with highs close to 60 degrees. Some showers possible tomorrow night. Still mild Tuesday with highs again near 60. A bit cooler Thursday.

Rain is possible Thursday, but we will need to watch model trends. This could impact the rain outlook attached as well! I will probably drop a brief update later!

The cold starts Friday and you will really feel it Saturday as highs stay in the 30s. We will also start cold windy conditions that could last for days!

I want to re-emphasize that the next few days it is time to prepare for cold weather!

Today: Hi 56 ⛅ Lo 35 🌙 – Mostly cloudy, becoming sunny with light northwest winds; mostly clear and calm tonight.

Monday: Hi 59 ☀️ Lo 46 🌙50% – Sunny and calm, becoming mostly cloudy with a chance of showers late.

Tuesday: Hi 59 🌤️ Lo 34 🌙 – Mostly sunny with breezy conditions; partly cloudy and cooler overnight.

Wednesday: Hi 51 ⛅ Lo 39 🌧️50% – Partly sunny, becoming mostly cloudy with a chance of rain late.

Thanksgiving Day: Hi 48 🌧️80% Lo 35 🌧️ 60% – Rainy (NOTE: THIS MAY TURN LESS LIKELY)

Loudoun County Weather Outlook for Saturday, November 23, 2024

11/23/2024 – Countdown to Turkey Day! Woot Woot! It will be a breezy day with winds gusting into the low 30s. Temps will be up near 50 degrees. winds will die off tonight and tomorrow looks great! Highs tomorrow will be in the mid 50s with light winds. A great day to finish up the Outdoor Christmas decorations, especially as we head for much colder temps by next weekend!
There will be rain chances on Monday Night. Very Mild Tuesday and then temperatures will start to get much cooler Wednesday.

Loudoun County Weather Outlook for Friday, November 22, 2024

11/22/2023- Updates! The rain showers, sometimes mixed with snow, should end late this evening. We will continue breezy and quite cold! Most of us did not get out of the 30s today! The cold snow/rain mix is quite wintry for our area. We will clear and remain breezy tomorrow with highs around 50.
Things calm down Sunday, and we are sunny and mild, with highs in the mid-50s.
Rain showers on Wednesday will start the colder trends, and we may see additional rain showers on Thursday. It will be quite cold late next week, and then it could get really cold next weekend! The models do not suggest any real chances of snow or wintry weather; there is a good chance of a stretch of very cold temperatures as we start December.

The forecast:
Today: Hi 39 🌧️80% Lo 37 🌧️70% – Rain, possibly mixed with snow showers. Breezy, with gusts up to 34 mph. Rain chances diminish late tonight with partial clearing.

Saturday: Hi 51 🌤️ Lo 41 🌙 – Partly sunny and breezy, with gusts up to 32 mph. Gradual clearing overnight with lighter winds.

Sunday: Hi 54 ☀️ Lo 36 🌙 – Mostly sunny and calm, becoming partly cloudy overnight.

Monday: Hi 61 ☀️ Lo 49 🌧️50% – Mostly sunny during the day. Showers likely after midnight under mostly cloudy skies.
