Loudoun County Weather Outlook for Wednesday, November 4, 2026

Good Wednesday morning to you!

🌧️ A disappointing turn for rain
Our chances for a good soaking over the next 24 to 36 hours have really diminished. The storm looks to develop farther east, leaving us with only about 0.10 to 0.25 inches of rain possible. Certainly not the drought relief we were hoping for!

🌤️ Warm and breezy today
Morning fog gives way to sunshine and another very warm afternoon. Winds pick up as the fog clears, with gusts around 22 mph.

Showers become likely late tonight toward Thursday morning. Most of Thursday’s rain chances come before 1 p.m., with only a slight chance afterward. A few scattered showers could return Thursday night into early Friday.

☀️ Cooler weekend with sunshine
Sunshine returns Saturday and sticks around through Tuesday. Cooler weather settles in for the weekend and early next week.

The longer range continues to favor dry conditions. With drought still a concern, the lack of meaningful rain is becoming frustrating.
