Loudoun County Weather Outlook for Sunday, November 1, 2026

🍂 Happy November, everybody!

Hope you had a great Halloween and are adjusting to the time change! Things definitely feel a little different this morning. Even I'm posting later than usual. You'd think I'd be posting earlier with the extra hour, but here we are! 😂

🌤️ A Nice Start to November

We're looking at a pretty nice day today with partly sunny skies. Monday looks nice as well, and by Tuesday and Wednesday, we're warming into the low to mid 70s. That's very warm for this time of year!

🌧️ Much Needed Rain on the Way

Rain chances begin increasing Wednesday night, with rain likely Thursday and Thursday night. Showers could continue into Friday before tapering off Saturday, when rain chances drop to around 20%.

We certainly need this rain! Drought conditions haven't improved much, although they haven't worsened significantly either.

🌡️ Above Normal Temperatures Continue

The extended outlook continues to favor above-normal temperatures along with increased chances for precipitation. Hopefully, we can start making some progress against the drought!

Enjoy your Sunday and have a great start to November!
